The Stealth Belt is a custom-made, velcro-closure ostomy support belt that can be worn. It features a pouch pocket for the ostomy bag, an easy-access zipper, and moisture-wicking fabric to prevent skin irritation.
Available in either horizontal or vertical styles, Stealth Belt holds the ostomy appliance towards the hip nearest to the stoma. Horizontal styles are best for those who are more active and prefer to have their ostomy appliance held in a horizontal position, while vertical-style belts keep the appliance more securely positioned between the legs.
The flange size of your ostomy bag is important to consider when choosing a Stealth Belt. The flange diameter is measured from side to side of the plastic ring on the ostomy bag.
Using the right sizing is crucial for the belt to work properly. A belt that is too large or too small will not hold the ostomy bag in place and may result in leaks and discomfort.
